7. Cover the metal edges of the light fixture with masking tape to avoid accidental staining.

8. Get a paintbrush and soak it on the glass stain. If you want to spend less, buy only glass stains with primary color. You can just mix these primary colors in order to get your desired color. When painting the glass, be sure not to go out of the marker or boundary to make it look neat and beautiful.

9. Dry the glass stain. Drying can last up to a day so keep the light fixture way from dusts.

10. Reinstall the stained glass light fixture.
