If you have never tried the raw diet then it might sound outrageous to you. This is the diet that I once thought was so extreme it even scared vegans. But recently this particular diet is starting to catch on and it has had some life changing results for some people.
I had heard about extreme hippies eating only fresh fruits and vegetables, but I didn’t think it was actually a feasible plan for a way of life. Then I started hearing about incredible weight loss stories of people switching to a raw diet and losing hundreds of pounds.
With the raw diet the weight loss is rapid and easy. You can lose weight without starving yourself, in fact you don’t even have to exercise. Although after you start losing weight and feeling better you just may start exercising just because it feels good.
You may wonder how someone can eat only fruit and vegetables and not be hungry. I suspect it has something to do with regulating your blood sugar. Flooding your body with healthy living nutrients, not only makes you feel more satisfied, but those dips and spikes in your blood sugar go away. No more uncontrollable hunger or weak and shaky periods.
In fact there have been some studies where the raw diet will actually cure diabetes. There have also been claims that eating Raw will also help detox the body and eliminate other diseases as well. Some people even think that it makes them younger because our cells are constantly changing and regrowing so if the only building blocks your body has to work with are nutrient rich living foods. Those new cells will rebuild better. Replacing your old damaged cells with new younger cells.
I have tried the raw diet and I’m not sure if I have gotten younger but it did make me feel really good and I lost weight on it. So here we have a diet, that is easy to do, will make you lose weight, feel better, and regulate your blood sugar. There really is no reason not to try the raw diet. It is actually easier than it sounds and the results are amazing.
